Any travellers who wish to travel to South Korea should have made their application for their South Korean Passenger Locator Form (Q-Code). This health declaration form will help to attest a passenger’s health condition prior to their arrival in the country and for a better monitoring by the officials.
NOTE : All nationalities are eligible to apply for their passenger locator form for South Korea. Children (below 18 years old) are also required to have in their possession their PLF form.
The health declaration form can be used for a single entry.
Travellers of age 6 and above must present either a negative PCR test result dated not less than 48 hours prior to their date of departure or a negative antigen test result dated not less than 24 hours performed by a health care professional.
However, should a traveller be tested positive on his arrival in South Korea, a quarantine period of 7 days will be applied in a dedicated centre for non-residents and at home for residents.
Depending on his nationality, a traveller may also be required to have a visa or K-ETA to enter South Korea.
Although not mandatory, a passenger is advised to get comprehensive travel insurance before leaving for the country.
